We offer a meal pack service, a handy option for those travelling light.
We have a selection of meal packs available to pre-order; home cooked frozen dinners ready for you to heat, breakfast baskets, a simple cereal and toast option or a full English breakfast; meat and vegetarian options for you to cook, and packed lunches.
It’s best to order in advance, we don’t keep a large stock so all are subject to availability.

Evening Meals
Frozen evening meals at £7.50 each – these are complete meals cooked by “The Pillar Box Cafe”
Please choose from the following and order from Ninebanks Youth Hostel:
- Beef Stew (GF & DF)
- Chicken Casserole (GF & DF)
- Butternut squash & coconut Dhansak (Vegan, & GF)
- Vegan Sausage & Mash with vegetables (Vegan & GF)
No meals contain nuts but are cooked in a kitchen where dishes containing nuts are prepared.
Breakfast
Breakfast in a Basket is £4.00 with fruit juice, choice of cereal, milk, bread roll with butter and marmalade/jam (tea and coffee are provided).
For £7.00 you can upgrade to a full English (meat or vegetarian) breakfast pack with bacon, sausage, an egg and hash brown or 2 vegetarian sausages, an egg and hash brown (all need cooking)
Packed Lunches
A Packed Lunch at £7.00 each: filled roll from a local artisan baker, a drink, crisps, cake/biscuit, and fruit. Please choose your roll filling from: cheese and pickle, cheese savoury, hummus, egg mayonnaise.
